– OUR COMPETITORS –

OUR COMPETITORS:

As a collaboration teaser, “Motor manufacturer Infinitum secures $35-million Series E extension (Aug 29, 2024),” verifies Infinitum Electric has obtained more than $424M of funding since 2017 with the CEO stating, “We look forward to further expanding our company to meet customer demand and accelerate production of our motor system.” It should be pointed out that the ongoing funding is for “expanding” the manufacture of Infinitum’s dexterously complex asymmetric electric motor system (A-EMS) with a passive rotor of rare-earth permanent magnets (RE-PM) [or more appropriately, for “offshoring” to low labor cost Mexico from its funding base country of the USA] and to “accelerate production” [or more appropriately re-engineer Infinitum’s seemingly unready A-EMS as revealed by Infinitum’s Chief Strategy Officer in a March 2024 article].  The vast amount of funding (> $424M since 2017) may demonstrate Infinitum’s prowess of creatively marketing their A-EMS, which is one of the most heavily reliant on the harmful environmental, exploited labor, and geopolitical consequences of RE-PMs, as having better performance than another optimally designed A-EMS, such as Turntide Technologies’ switch reluctance A-EMS with $492M in funding since 2017, which was developed to ethically eliminate RE-PMs but provide equal performance with the same design specification, such as voltage, speed and excitation frequency, and air-gap flux density, in accordance with EMS physics.

More realistically, the vast amount of funding shows investors: 1) recognize the huge market potential of providing so-called advanced or invented electric motor systems, which are the backbone of the global electricity transformation, such as for electric transportation propulsion, and therefore, essential for our clean, efficient, and sustainable energy future, but 2) are technologically limited to “me-too” A-EMS” technology. Instead, Only Best Electric Machine offers a truly new, RE-PM free, and patented symmetric EMS (S-EMS) circuit and control technology, called SYNCHRO-SYM, with a verified 2-8x the performance/price of any A-EMS with the same design specification.

Infinitum Electric is no different from all other A-EMS competitors’ that inequitably compare between A-EMS contestants by creative marketing. For instance, Infinitum’s marketing article, “Motor manufacturer Infinitum secures $35-million Series E extension,” pictorially implies that one Infinitum axial-flux PCB stator disk would replace the huge traditional radial-flux stator cylinder of a standard frame induction A-EMS but conveniently omits the clarity of the dotted arrows, which would show a complex but comparable sized A-EMS by assuming the same design specification:
